Texas Employment Forecast indicates that jobs will grow approx. 1.5% in 2019.
Growth is looking to be slower than last years estimated 2.3%; however, “[Things look] stronger than we expected in early January,” Keith R. Phillips, Dallas Fed assistant vice president and senior economist.

TEF reported an 80% confidence band of 0.1-2.9 percent growth.
The forecast also estimates that 191,000 jobs will be added in the state by December 2019, with total employment reaching 12.8 million.
