Just 3 miles down the road from FIG’s Starwood Farms in Cypress, TX will be the site of Houston Methodist’s new hospital. Officials at Houston Methodist announced their plans for their 9th hospital in the Cypress area. The building will get set up on the old Sysco Corp. property along highway 290 near the corner of Jarvis and Barker rd.
Houston Methodist could be opening their new hospital as early as 2024 and employ 500+ people on the 106 acre lot. Cy-Fair posted that the new campus will be modeled closely after the Houston Methodist West and Woodlands facilities. This, according to their recent press release.
The hospital will consist of “400 beds, multiple medical office buildings and room for future growth. Officials said outpatient clinics and medical staff offices are slated to open first.”
