Project Timeline
July 2019
Our construction team has turned over much of Phase 3, with the remainder due to be turned over by the end of this month. Tenants are moving into Phases 1 and 2, with leasing underway there and soon to follow in Phase 3. The playground is installed and much of the common area and landscaping are installed as well. See the below drone footage:
May 2019
We have fresh drone footage of Bridgestone Crossing in Spring, TX!
Phase 1 now has certificates of occupancy, with Phase 2 to begin receiving them in the next 10 days. All buildings are now framed and we’re on track to finish on time! The playground was recently installed (with a sunshade for that hot Houston sun) as well as a new dog park.
March 2019
Construction at Bridgestone Crossing in Spring, TX is moving along great, despite all of that Houston rain! Our photographer was able to get a clear day this week to show all the progress overhead. Phase 1 is essentially complete, with only the final power connection and punch lists to remaining. Phase 2 is right on its heels with interiors nearing completion. You’ll see in the video that landscaping install is in progress in those first few phases as well. This project is tracking to deliver on time for certificates of occupancy.
January 2019
The first Phase of Bridgestone Crossing is just around the corner from completion in Spring Texas! Interior work is finishing up with appliances on the way for delivery. Phase 2 isn’t too far behind, with the bulk of Phases 3 and 4 in some stage of foundation, framing, and drywall. We’re excited to begin the lease-up process soon! We expect good economic growth, as Harris County, TX is the third-largest economy (by county) in the United States.
October 2018
At Bridgestone in Spring, TX, framing and exteriors are finishing up in Phase 1, with these units expected to be delivered for rent in January of next year. Phase 2 is currently in framing, with Phase 3 in footings and foundation. The remaining phases are expected to start construction in the next 60 days.
March 2018
Great news! FIG’s second project in Texas is now off and running! Site work has begun at Bridgestone Crossing (formerly known as The Village at Parkway Lakes) in Spring, TX. Closings for Phase 1 are scheduled to start happening in mid-April, with construction in the entire project having started by mid-fall. Check out the drone footage of the project below.
Here at FIG, we continue to find good things happening in Texas! The population there continues to grow due to a great job market, natural increase, and international immigration! The Houston metro is projected to have 11.1 million residents by the year 2040! Houston is also projected to overtake Dallas as the state’s most populous metropolitan area.
While Houston is no longer just an oil town, a good energy market doesn’t hurt. Two months ago, the Dallas Federal Reserve predicted the Houston metro would add “some 75,000 jobs in 2018.” That’s why FIG is working hard on acquiring more dirt in Houston. A little bird told me to watch for more details on that in the coming months!
